For nearly 200 years, married couples have been acknowledging their fifth year of marriage with gifts made from wood. We at Andrew Pearce believe in the meaning behind this tradition. Similar to wood, marriage has the potential to last for many years and can become even more beautiful and durable over time. There is as much variation amongst our bowls as there is between one marriage to the next, but we know that your loved one will adore the gift of an elegant and meaningful Willoughby wooden bowl.

The name “Willoughby” has special meaning to us at Andrew Pearce Bowls as Andrew and Christy’s first date took place at Lake Willoughby in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and is also where Andrew proposed. Most importantly though, it happens to be the name of their beloved family dog.

The Willoughby bowl is available in multiple sizes and wood types, which you can view here.
