These unfinished bowls didn't make the cut for our meticulous woodworkers, but they're beautiful and useful in their own right. We have dried them, sanded the bottom flat, and stamped the bottom with the Andrew Pearce logo. Rough bowls make fabulous garden displays and are best used for spring bulbs, flowering annuals, succulents, or house plants. Dress up your porch, deck, or entryway with a rough bowl floral display. Or use them to display seasonal produce or ornaments.
Rough Bowl Tips:
- If needed, drill 2-3 holes for draining when used as a planter.
- Water plants in these planters often if they live outdoors.
- Expect cracking and weathering over time.
- Rough bowls are 100% biodegradable. You can dispose of them, when the time comes, by simply letting them decompose outside, or by burning them.
