Care for the things that you care about with a food-safe wood finish from Andrew Pearce!

One bottle is 8 fluid ounces.

To preserve the beauty of your Andrew Pearce wood product, we strongly recommend that you periodically recondition the natural wood product with Andrew Pearce Refined Walnut Wood Oil. Our premium, non-toxic, food-safe, and allergen-free walnut wood oil will maintain the natural beauty and integrity of your cherished unfinished wood items. Perfect as a cutting board oil or salad bowl oil, our product is preferred over mineral oil by home cooks and professional chefs alike.

It's time to recondition your wood product when it feels or looks dry. Liberally wipe on Andrew Pearce Walnut Wood Oil with a soft, lint-free cloth. The more you wash your wooden bowl or board, the more often you will want to recondition it.

Our specially formulated walnut oil is high in linoleic acid and is heat-treated to make it oxidize faster. It penetrates deep into the wood grain and then hardens, giving you a longer-lasting finish that will not evaporate like mineral oil finishes. Walnut oil hardens into a food-safe, satin finish for bowls, untreated butcher block, utensils, and other natural wood products. We do not recommend for use on furniture. It is a slow-drying oil that will cure faster in a warmer environment, although room temperature is typically best. We do not suggest using vegetable oils to recondition your wooden products as they may contain ingredients known to create a culture in which bacteria can thrive.

A Bottle of Liquid Gold!!

I thought buying this small bottle of Walnut oil was a waste; just to keep my new small cutting board conditioned and looking brand new? After an antiquing mishap I'm glad I had this little miracle worker in my cleaning and conditioning arsenal.

I recently became obsessed with Jens Quistgaard's Teak Pepper Mills, and after some searching I found an adorable salt and pepper shaker for our dining room table on Etsy. They arrived quickly with a beautiful wood grain that made me want to reach for them even when my dinner was perfectly seasoned. I let them air out for a couple weeks and decided to wash them with warm soapy water to ensure they were clean.

I made the mistake of air drying them on the counter and when I went into the kitchen to grab a glass of water I was so disappointed to see that washing them had completely striped away their shine and left my new set looking dull and cheap.

I remember seeing the Walnut Oil a few weeks earlier when I was looking for something in the cabinet, so I grabbed the bottle and poured a small blob onto a paper towel. I reached for the salt shaker and after rotating it a few times to coat the outside of the shaker I was ecstatic to see that the shine I'd love so much when first unboxing the set had returned!

I did the same with the pepper shaker and set them both on a rack do that the core of the salt and pepper shaker could completely dry before I filled them up and added them back to my tablescape.

I don't plan on washing my shaker set anytime soon, but the shine and woodgrain are so luminescent that now I'm looking for other ways to use this little bottle and bring back the true character of my wood pieces.

Beautiful Products! I couldn't hit the buy button fast enough when I saw the wooden Christmas Trees!!!

Happy New Year!
