These unfinished bowls didn't make the cut for our meticulous woodworkers, but they're beautiful and useful in their own right. We have dried them, sanded the bottom flat, and stamped the bottom with the Andrew Pearce logo. Rough bowls make fabulous garden displays and are best used for spring bulbs, flowering annuals, succulents, or house plants. And they make Dress up your porch, deck, or entryway with a rough bowl floral display.

Rough Bowl Tips:

  • If needed, drill 2-3 holes for draining when used as a planter.
  • Water plants in these planters often if they live outdoors.
  • Expect cracking and weathering if rough bowls are kept outdoors.
  • Rough bowls are 100% biodegradable. You can dispose of them, when the time comes, by simply letting them decompose outside, or by burning them.

Makes a wonderful flower pot/planter

Great idea for Andrew Pearce to sell bowls they cannot sell/turn further for people to enjoy in various ways. I'm sure there is no limit to the uses of a rough bowl.
