Light weight and elegant

Disappointed. Not what we expected...

We were very excited to order this bowl based on the beautiful photos of large live edge cherry oval wooden bowls on the website. While we understood that each piece is different and unique, the bowl we received just did not have the visual beauty and in our opinion is significantly different than what is shown in terms of coloration, wood grain, markings, etc. The bowl we received appears relatively dull and without much visual interest, and with some random distracting marks (characteristics of the particular tree, apparently) again compared to photos of similar items on the website. Accordingly, we decided to return it with the explanation as provided above. The other disappointment was, despite a guaranteed return if not 100% satisfied, was that we had to pay the return shipping which from Michigan was around $80 UPS. We feel that based on the bowl we received, so unlike those pictured, the return shipping should have been covered by the company, in whole or at least in part.

Simply Exquisite

I visited the Andrew Pearce showroom in Vermont and purchased the most exquisite live edge wooden bowl to use when entertaining and every day use. The bowl arrived today and it’s even more beautiful than when I purchased it! It’s so gorgeous that I could leave it out as an art piece - it’s truly that beautiful. I also purchased several intricately carved trees in various sizes and shapes to accent my home as well as mix with my Simon Pearce glass trees for the holidays. I look forward to more purchases from Andrew in the future!!

The bowl is magnificent with the workmanship that I’ve come to cherish with Andrew Pearce products. It is definitely 5 star! I bought it as a wedding present, picking it because I wanted something particularly wonderful. The bowl did arrive in good shape, BUT that was something of a miracle because the box it was shipped in was caved in on one side and the end. I had to buy another box to wrap the bowl for the wedding. I know shipping is in many ways beyond your control, but I offer this as a warning that you need to look into sturdier boxes so that your beautiful bowls are not damaged.
