We honor the wood in its natural state, finished only with our non-toxic, allergen-free Refined Walnut Wood Oil, ensuring that the piece's extraordinary character comes entirely from nature.

Through our Tree for a Tree program, each burl tree purchase supports the reforestation of the forests that supply these rare and beautiful materials, ensuring this extraordinary resource continues to exist for future generations.

What types of wood are used for the wooden trees?
We primarily work with Black Walnut and Cherry hardwoods. Walnut provides a rich, dark chocolate tone that adds depth to a room, while Cherry offers a warmer hue that matures into a deep reddish-brown patina over time. Mixing the two species in a forest set creates a stunning visual contrast, highlighting the unique grain patterns of each hardwood.
What finish is used on the wooden trees?
Our trees are hand-finished with our non-toxic, allergen-free Refined Walnut Wood Oil. This food-safe finish protects the wood and enhances the natural grain, ensuring the trees are safe to display anywhere in your home, including kitchen islands and dining areas.
