"Glacial Basin" is a wide cherry burl basin hand-turned from a wide cherry burl slab. Replete with bark inclusions, swirling burl grain, and a shocking range of colors, this piece is a showstopper.
To make "Glacial Basin" our turners cut a cherry burl into a rough slab, then put it on the lathe to form a shallow basin with a flaring, irregular rim and an elegant foot. Unlike any burl we have produced to date, and a perfect example of the craftsmanship we are known for.
